The Animal Sorting Cube has a total of eight animal characters, each of which has two slats to be matched, along with a piece of wooden food that fits into hole in the bottom slat. So, for example, a friendly mouse will be matched with a piece of cheese, a dog with a bone, a rabbit with a carrot and so on.

The sorting cube has a total of 25 wooden pieces. When not in use, the slats can be stored in slots in the middle of the cube.
